Caley Cup Pursuit Race

The latest 10-week training block reached a thrilling climax on Tuesday evening with runners taking part in a fast and frantic time trial race at the Energy Park in Methil. No less than 20 club members improved on their best recorded times, with the outstanding performance coming from Luke Whittaker.

Less than six months ago Luke was a complete beginner to running when he joined the Leven Las Vegas Couch to 5k jogging course. His dedication and commitment to completing the course and then continuing with regular training was rewarded when he received the LLV Caley Cup for most improved runner in the training block.
